A strict dress code is required to visit the monasteries. For women, knee-length skirts or longer are required. Trousers, shorts and sleeveless clothing are not permitted for women. For men, sleeveless clothing and shorts that do not reach the knee are prohibited.
Board the train from Thessaloniki train station at 08.56 heading towards Kalambaka.
